1998 BMW F650 Funduro

This is a pampered F650 with just over 6,000 miles. It has always been garaged and
has never been off-road. Extras include a tall National Cycle windscreen,
AeroFlow
headlight protector,
BMW hand guards, BMW power socket (great for plugging in an
electric vest or Battery Tender), Bob's BMW Wrist Rest, and a Clymer repair manual.
New Metzeler road tires (ME 33 front, ME Z2 rear) give a smoother, more stable ride
and far better traction and handling than the original Bridgestone dual-sport tires.
Morton's BMW performed its 6,000 mile service, it has a fresh Yuasa battery,
and the bike is totally ready to go.

I like to ride this bike -- it just feels right to me. For ordinary riding, its upright seating
position and the leverage from its wide bars make it much more comfortable and easier
to control at low speeds than a sportbike (and how much of the time does any rider want to
be crouched over the tank, anyhow?). Its light weight and quick responsiveness make it
better for errands or short commutes than a 600-lb sport tourer (like my R1150RT).

But my wife says we have too many motorcycles in our garage. So for the
sake of peace we've agreed to sell one of mine and one of hers.
This one is mine and I'll let it go for

$4,300.

I'm in Northern Virginia near Washington DC.

Thanks for looking.
